Our Goal & Objectives

From launching awareness campaigns to offering eLearning courses and hostingthe first-ever MenoSports Camp, we’re here to support women’s health, both physically and mentally!

 

Our project is focused on the economically challenged Western Suburbs of the Municipality of
Athens, supporting women with limited access to resources to navigate this life stage confidently
and healthily.

Educating the Public & Challenging Stigma

 The project aims to raise awareness about
menopause, challenge societal taboos, and promote empowerment.

Expanding Information Sharing & Networking

The project will organize the MenoMoves
Symposium to facilitate discussions on menopause, exercise, and health.

​Advancing HEPA Education

The project will develop and deliver a structured eLearning
course on Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA) for menopausal women.

The project will organize a sports camp for menopausal
women, offering a structured and supportive environment to engage in regular physical activity.

Our Activities

targets to empower menopausal women to improve their health, build resilience, and create
lasting change in their lives. Our activities aim to foster physical fitness, emotional well-being,
and digital literacy, all while encouraging community-building and solidarity.

About the Project

Menopause Likes Sports! is a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower women experiencing menopause by addressing the physical, emotional, and social challenges associated with this natural phase of life. Through a variety of activities, campaigns, and resources, we aim to:

 

  • Destigmatize menopause by raising public awareness and breaking societal taboos.

  • Promote HEPA education (Health-Enhancing Physical Activity) to support active and healthy lifestyles.

  • Foster physical and mental well-being through structured sport activities and support sessions.

  • Expand information sharing and build networks to connect women, experts, and communities.
